    Startup Folder

    I'm trying to figure out a problematic PC, and have located a utility program that will log hard drive activity. It will only load when I boot the PC if I put it in the Startup Folder. I've never done this on a Win7 machine, and I can't find that folder. Help!

    The above method will function on a per user basis which may be all that is needed. The equivalent Startup folder for All Users is as follows;

    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

    Note: You will have to have hidden folders revealed to see ProgramData folder.
