    Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center?

Is the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center meant to be used on Windows 7? When I installed it, I could not find all the options for my [Mcrosoft] mouse buttons.

I finally just uninstalled it and went back to the Intellipoint and Intellitype installs.

Was I just not seeing something?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

According to MS this is for Win 7 and Win 8. Look in the System Requirements section.

I have Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center installed on my Windows 8 laptop and it has all my mouse options although it doesn't have many. That said, I don't know of any advantage to using the center over Intellipoint.

Jerry, if there is some advantage, I haven't found it. Quite the contrary in fact, as I cannot seem to find all the [button] features -- and, it keeps trying to force itself on ya via Update.

    Ah well.

    Thanks,
    Chuck

I have the Mouse and Keyboard Center installed in both Windows 7 and Windows 8. I have a Microsoft Wireless Comfort 5000 Keyboard/Mouse combo, and the Center has multiple options for all the keys and buttons. Each key/button lists a set of basic commands, and below that in most cases is a "View all commands" link that opens a whole slew of options.

I'm not sure if this is part of your problem, but you have to hover the cursor and/or click on the relevant part of the mouse ON THE SCREEN to get the options for that part of your actual mouse. It is quite different from previous versions and seems odd and clunky to me, with me being used to the old version. Perhaps you can find your missing buttons with that?

    Best wishes,

    Tony
