    Visio Screen Tips

    Hi,
For doucmentation purposes I have selected Visio and the use of Screen Tips, sometimes referred to Hover Text. It works fine in Visio but that information doesn't transfer over if saved as HTML. Using Office 10, Windows XP Service Pack III and IE 9. Questions

    1) Is there a way to ensure the screen tips get ported over and are visible on IE?
    2) Is there a way that if I put a web url in as the screen tip, users can click on it?
    3) Is there a way around the 255 character limit that Microsoft imposed but never amended?

    Thanks,
    Thanos

I was able to successfully resolve this; for anyone in the same boat, here's what to do:

    1) Make sure the DEVELOPER tab shows in the Toolbar
    2) Type in the Screentip Text (Insert tab on Toolbar)
    3) Click DEVELOPER tab
    a) Click Show ShapeSheet
    b) In the "Sections" segment, click on Insert
    c) Click on Shape Data
    d) Enclose in double quotations what you want to show in the Label and
    e) In Value, type in =COMMENT

When you save the Visio document, save as a Web Page / HTML and you're all set.
