Question Windows Explorer details view, column headings missing

System: Compaq Presario CQ50 Laptop, 32 bit Win 7 Home Premium, 4GB Ram.

This peculiar little problem started after I uninstalled the "Classic Shell" program.
Now, in Windows Explorer in details view, the column headings in the right-hand pane are missing.

It's useful to be able to click in the column headings to re-sort the file list by Name, Date, Size, File type, etc.

I can still re-sort by clicking on "View > Sort by > " in the text menus at the top,
but it would be nicer and simpler to have the column headings back.

Any ideas on how I can get the column headings to show again?

    Thanks Jerry,
    That did the trick.

The pertinent part of that post:
    1) Run Regedit.
    2) Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags.
Right-click on the Bags key and choose Delete.
    3) Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\BagMRU
Right-click on the BagMRU key and choose Delete.
    4) Restart your computer.

Now I just wish I had asked that question 2 years ago.....
