    Saving Documents

    When I try to save a document in W7 64bit What I usually get is every little bit and piece needed to save the document but not the document itself. What am I doing or not doing that causes this?

    I would like to copy and paste it but I can't even do that.
    I have a folder entitled 2013 online purchases. I would like to save copies of the information regarding the purchases, both from the site of purchase and/or email.
    For instance. I purchased from pet supplies and I get a list of 16 items that read something like:
    Cb=gapiloaded_1 50 K
    cleardot 1 K
    d=1 1307 KB
    hovercard 12 KB
    etc. etc.
    Did I tell you I hate W7? I still do. Thanks for trying to help

    Sr,

    This sounds like a list of files. ??Can you post a screenshot??

    W7 is your friend.

    Nope. Can't post a screen shot. Can't copy and paste because when I try to select the items all it does is move them.
    Yes it evidently is a list of files, everything within the document I want but not the document itself. Documents in XP often would have 2 things listed, the one with the list of all the junk and the other the actual document I wanted.
    Worse yet, today Chrome is telling me they can't find the site, error 6. With a friend like W7 I would hate to have enemies.
    I have publications that are supposed to be a great help, but of course things like this are not addressed.
    Thanks anyway.

    Go into your mouse settings and slow down your double click speed. It sounds like the mouse is too sensitive and is therefore selecting things before you tell it to.
