    Email that delegant sends is not saved in any sent folder

    Hey guys,

    Got a tricky problem. One of my PA's at work when sending an email on behalf of the managers email through outlook 2010 is not saving the email in any of the sent folders.

    Before when the PA sent the email from her computer, there would be an email in BOTH the PA's sent folder and the Managers sent folder.

    This email is now not showing.

    If the PA sends an email with her own email it shows in her sent folder, and vice versa for the manager.

    The closest MS support I could find is:

    The Microsoft 'fixit' does not install on the computer for some unknown reason.

    Looking for a point in the right direction.

    Welcome to the Lounge!!!

    Do you have the most current Office 2010 service pack installed? Is Office 2010 up-to-date with patches?

    Have you double checked the Outlook settings to make sure that "save a copy in sent items" is selected?

    Have you tried the manual steps in the KB article?

    What Exchange version are you running? What service pack level? Is it up-to-date with patches?

    Hey Joe.

    Yes the most current version of Office 2010 is installed. I just preformed a reinstall, and the latest service pack install said the version is most recent.

    The box 'save a copy in sent items' is selected

    I have tried the manual steps in the KB article.
    This includes: going into regedit - creating the DWORD file.
    ensuring the outlook is running as a cached exchange mode.

    I know we are running Exchange 2003, But I would not know if it is the latest version or not.

    To help you with this inquiry other PA's using the exact same system are fine. It is just this one account. The sent emails use to appear but no longer do.

    Have you tried a new email profile for the PA wit the issue?

    yeah I just tried it on a different computer.

    Without a doubt its a mailbox issue.

    Thought I would add the access permission in AD has been set to 'Full Mailbox Access' in the managers profile for his PA.

    The version of Exchange 2003 is v.6.5.7638.1
    Running on a Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2

    Seems like you've checked the appropriate settings and tried the solutions that appear to apply.

    Have you checked the Technet forums?

    Might be worth trying to debug why the "fixit" would not work.
