Unlucky Thirteen (A2K (9.0.4402 SR-1 ))

Try to keep the laughter down, folks, but I have a client, a housebuilder, who never wants the square footage of his homes to equal 13. For instance, 5,305 square feet adds up to 13, ergo, bad. I've seen this ability to sum the numbers of a number, but as usual, when I need it, I can't find. I would appreciate any help with this, laughter or not.
Cheers,
Andy

Do something like

x=area
sumdigits=0
do while x<>0
sumdigits=sumdigits+(x mod 10)
x=x10
loop
'Now do whatever is appropriate if sumdigits=13

Douglas:
Thanks very kindly for your quick response. My apologies for not getting back any sooner. There is nothing more humbling than getting an answer to your question and not knowing exactly what to do with it. However, 'tis the only way to learn and hang public exposure.
Here goes. If the field on the form that I'm interrogating for the presence of the deadly total of thirteen is called [Calc0020], where, how and exactly in which format would I, and be careful here, stick it..
Again, I guess the only way to really learn is to jump in and admit that one doesn't know everything.
Cheers,
Andy
