    Cool Virus on Android tablet?

    Hi,
A client of mine couldn't send e-mails anymore.
Her IP was blacklisted by Spamhouse.
Found out it was her Sony android tablet.
Switched wifi off and within hours the IP was released by Spamhouse.
I have the notebook at my house but am anxious to connect it to the internet.
Anyone having thoughts about how to handle?
Will google the problem (not with the tablet ) and let you know when there's a solution.

    TIA
    Sjors

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. If you suspect that the tablet has a virus on it, you should be able to rest the tablet to factory settings; I know my ASUS Eee Transformer has that option. That might be the best thing as I don't know of any apps that could clean up a virus on a tablet. (BTW, I'm answering this on my tablet)

    Hi,
As I said I didn't suspect the tablet had a virus, but Android popped-up with the message Virus found (or the like).
And the IP of the client was blocked by Spamhaus. A few hours after I disabled wifi on the tablet, the blocking was suspended.
And I already set it back to factory settings and installed free AVG-app.
Just read Google also published an security app to block malicious apps.
    Guess I'll install that too.

    tnx

Unlikely that IPs are removed from the blacklist that quickly - you usually need to complain to the blacklister. I suspect coincidence.

    cheers, Paul

If you want to remove virus from android tablet, you need to do factory reset, it get delete all your viruses, applications, contacts. Other option is to delete useless applications.
