    Office 2010 sp2: 32 bit or 64 bit

Windows update offers the 32 bit version of office 2010 sp2 but my operating system is 64 bit. Which version of sp2 should I use?

The one matching the variant of Office you already have installed!
Open one of the Office programs (say Word), click on File at top left, then on Help near the bottom of the list.
Look just below "About Microsoft Word".

It would be surprising if you have the 64-bit version, since Microsoft advice for Office 2010 is to stick with the 32-bit version.

If Windows Update offered the 32 bit version, then you have the 32 bit version installed.

    G.S.,

Either version of MS Office will work on a 64-Bit Windows. The general "wisdom" is to stick with 32-Bit Office since it works with all the software out there where as the 64-Bit version may not work with things like syncing phones etc. The one reason I've seen for using the 64-bit version is if you have really large Excel Workbooks.
