    Need help with macros for printer bin numbers

    Hello everyone.

    I was wondering if someone can help me with a Macro script for Word 2003/2010.
    Currently we have a script set up which prints 1 page from tray 1 and 1 page from tray 2. This is all good however with the new Olivetti printers (MF220 and a PGL 2145) we have it doesnt work as the paper type in each tray is different.

    For example:
    Tray 1 has plain paper and tray 2 has letter headed paper.

    Here is our current script with the tray numbers...

    Sub CC()
    End With
    With ActiveDocument.PageSetup
    .FirstPageTray = 1
    .OtherPagesTray = 2
    End With

    Is it possible to change the script... So tray 1 is plain paper and tray 2 it set to letter headed paper?

    The above script when its created i beleive should stop the machine from printing 2 plain papers....

    Any suggestions are welcome

    Please help ASAP!

    Many thanks!

    Hi everyone.

    I found the resolution for this after playing around with word and searching some more forums

    You need to record a macro, then go to the page set up and change the layout to select tray 1 or tray 2. Then print the page. Stop recording the macro and then view the macro. You will see the tray number for the tray you selected .

    Then you do the same for tray 2 or tray 1...

    This website also helps. http://www.gmayor.com/fax_from_word.htm
