Tool tips in listbox (Word 97 Sr2)

    Hi,

    I have a listbox within a user form in Word. The listbox contains a list of all documents saved in a folder, based on where the template of the current document is stored. The document names can be of any length. Some of the document names are longer than my listbox is wide.
    Can anyone tell me if there is a way to show hover text, or ControlTipText, displaying the full value of the row of the listbox the mouse has selected, or even better, the row that the mouse is hovering over?

    Many thanks in advance,

    You could try something like
ListBox1.ControlTipText = ListBox1.Text

    in the UserForm_Activate event and in the ListBox1_Change event

    However it will not change as you hover th emouse over different items in the list box. I suspect an API call would be required for that.
