    shortcut bar automatic start (winME)

After a system restore on WinME, my Office 2000 shortcut
bar does not start automatically on startup. I chose the
option for 'run automatically on startup' but it hasn't
worked. I tried dragging the shortcut bar folder to the
windows/startup folder - but all that did was open a
window with the icons in it at startup. I tried unistalling and reinstalling the shortcut bar - no luck either.
I can open it manually from the program menu. Any ideas
on how to get it opening automatically on startup?
    Many thanks

    What you need to do:
Right-click Start icon in the lower left corner of your screen
Choose "Explore All Users" (or "Explore", if first is unavailable)
In the left-hand pane double-click "programs" (under "Start Menu", that is highlighted), then Microsoft Office Tools.
On the right-hand pane hightlight (just click, not double-click) Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar, then copy it (press Ctrl - C or, if you prefer, right-click the icon and choose Copy from the menu)
On the left-hand pane, double-click Startup folder (on the straight line under "Programs")
Paste shortcut in this folder (right-click anywhere in the the right-hand pane and choose Paste from the menu, or, click anywhere in the left-hand pane and press Ctrl - V ). Make sure the icon "Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar" appears in your Startup folder.
When you restart your computer the next time, Shortcut bar will start.
