    Antivirus for Windows 98

    Good day to all.

I still run a couple of old Windows 98se computers because of software / hardware reasons. I used to use Eset's NOD-32 antivirus program but Eset dropped Win98 support last year.

Does anyone make an anti-virus package with current definitions that runs on Windows 98? I don't mind paying for the software - it doesn't have to be free.

    Many thanks!

    I doubt it

I have two 98se machines in use.
But i unplugged them from the net and ripped out the security software.
they now run faster than the 3 xppro machines.

get a small cheap new pc with the latest os and use it only for internet access.

i reccomend Malwarebytes, Ccleaner, superantispywarefree, defraggler. these programs are free and should help you remove viruses
TIP: if you get malwarebytes PRO don't bother buying superantispyware pro
