How to create anumbering style with fixed number of digits

I would like to create a numbering style in Word 2010 that would always show 4 digits. So instead of 1, it would be 0001, when it got to 10 it would be 0010, up to 9999. Is that possible? Thanks in advance.

    Yes.
Define either New Number Format or New Multilevel List.
In New Number Format, the NUMBER STYLE is a drop down box. Select the 4 digit option (hint, it is near the bottom of the scrolling list and may not be immediately visible)

In New Multilevel List, you need to pick the appropriate level. Select NUMBER STYLE FOR THIS LEVEL and choose the 4 digit option
