    Which downloaded updates are installed.

After reading about Microsoft dropping support for XP next year, I wanted to make sure I had all the updates possible. Whenever I see the Updates Ready icon I click it and on the following window I click the Express Install button. Soon I get the message that all is installed and is well. This time I received the message "Some updates could not be installed" followed by a list of the (predicted) 8 updates with the KB numbers no indication which ones were installed - or not. Where do I look to see a list of what updates are on my computer? The Download folder has an infinitly long list containing, among other items, the KB's that have been downloaded but no info indicating that they were as successfully installed.

Run Windows Update. Look in the left pane at "Review your Update History"

Thanks Joe. It turned out all 8 were not installed. I followed the trail deep into the morass of Microsoft help but soon got lost. It did allow me to try again to install which was successful. What can I say!
