    formula help

    hi all,

    i have data sample attached, it consist of two columns,column "A" the arrival date, and what i need is a formula that will put a flag of 1 if the arrival date falls within the last quarter of the year as depicted in column "B".

    This should do the trick:

    =IF(MONTH(A3)>9,1,"")

    Just copy into B3 then fill down. HTH
