APC Power Chute And Sleep Mode

I have my APC unit set to automatically shut down my PC in the event of a power failure.

Will Power Chute still shut my PC down if the PC is asleep during the power failure ?

    Thanks

No, I don't think it will. My configuration is similar and Power Chute does not wake the computer.

Nope. You need the computer to be running to listen for the shutdown command and sleep suspends all activity until a hardware wake up command.
Change sleep to hibernate to get around it.

    cheers, Paul
