    Any ideas - VB prob

When executing a VB macro it comes up with "Compile Error - Invalid use of property". The statement it stops at is

    Range ("A1")
    End Sub

I realise this is not a lot of information but just some options would be appreciated.

I'm not that surprised it didn't like that. I think the default property for a range is the value of the range, so essentially you have a statement that says

    Range("A1").value

Excel would be expecting you to do something to the value of A1, like assign something to it, or add it to something else. The statement as it stands doesn't have a lot of meaning.

What are you trying to do?
