    Outlook 2010 Contacts - setting to change order of Phone Fields?

    Hi all, is there a way to change order of phone fields? so when creating a new contact the phone field defaults to "Business"?

    Thanks for any info.

    This article is for Outlook 2003, but for 2010 it's pretty much the same.

    Thanks, Oliver. I'd rather not customize the form. Hoping someone might know if there is an actual setting in Outlook's options that let's you change order of phone fields.

    The order of fields is part of the form definition. Thus, the article on customization.

    Thanks for the feedback, Joe. I guess this means I didn't miss some setting in Outlook Options - there isn't such a setting. Appreciate the info from you!

    No problem. It is often well nigh impossible to figure know what is a setting and what really requires a form change in Office. There are so many settings it is very easy to miss one. Then you have the registry changes that don't have a UI equivilant to make matters worse.
