    Custom Number Format for Date

    I am building a pivot table which brings a field called Last Date of Change which in the source data is either blank (for new hires who haven't yet gotten a raise) or displays the last rate change date.

    When the data are displayed in the pivot table, the blanks come across as 1/0/1900. Is there a custom number format I can use for this field in the pivot table that will hide the blank dates yet still display the normal dates?

    Arcturus,

    Setup a custom format of: mm/dd/yy;;
    Of course you can replace mm/dd/yy with the normal date format of your choice it's the 2 semi colons that make the difference.
