Access 2007 table design view description

    Hi,
I would like to post data to the table field descriptions in the tables in my database. I have a table of help messages for each field in each table in my data dbase. I would like to write code to place the information into the description you find on the table design view using Access or VBA. However, I can not find out what to use to referance the "Table Design View Field Description" in Access or VBA. Any ideas????
    HELP PLEASE,
    Sarge

It's interesting that this isn't terribly well documented, but what you are looking for is the "Description" property of the Field object. Take a look at the DAO example in [url=http://support.microsoft.com/kb/210314]ACC2000: How to Use ADO or DAO to Retrieve a Field's Description[url] and you will see how to display it. You would need to use the Update method for the Field object after you set the property, so you will need to spend some time with the object model and DAO, but it shouldn't be too tricky.
