Using spell check on numbers (Word2K)

My company references products by number. Is there a way to have Spell Check tell me that 8343 is not a valid product and is "misspelled" so that a list of suggestions will offer me 8334?

Could you just do an AutoCorrect entry? That way, whenever that incorrect number is entered, it will automatically change it to the correct number.

    Hi Mease:

So far as I can tell, you can't spell check numbers. Putting a number in an exclusion dictionary doesn't do anything. Egghead's suggestion would work, but...remember, you'll never be able to use that number in any document without it changing. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>
