    Desktop fonts?

I am TRYING to set up my daughter's W-8 machine. Is there a way to adjust the desktop icon fonts? In W-7, it was / is in the Personalize / Window Color / Advanced Settings, but in W-8 it ain't there.

    Have they disabled those settings?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

    Chuck,
    1. Right Click an empty portion of the desktop.
    2. Select Personalize from the drop down menu.
    3. Click Display at the bottom left.
    4. Undet the "Change only the text size" title click the drop down arrow to the right of "Title bars".
    5. Select Icons.
    6. Use the size drop down to select the point size desired.
    7. Click Apply.
    8. Done.

Note: the screen will blank and you'll get a "Please wait" message in the middle of the screen. It took several seconds on my very new and fast machine so be a little patient.
