No partition, can't del Partition Wizard

While re-formatting my Wife's old computer (with GREAT help from this forum), I downloaded MiniTool's Partition Wizard-Home Ed. 7.7.0.0. via "my PC" and then copied the exe to a flash disc and took it to my Wife's pc (because her PC is never connected to the Internet).

I DID NOT need the PartitionWizard tool on "my" WinXP pc and did not run the PW exe file on "my PC".

I tried to delete the PW exe file today and the message says "file in use". I checked the Control Panel-not installed. I checked the Programs folder, nothing listed. It's just a file in a data folder.

How do I delete this program?

    Thanks for any insight.

    Paul,

The easiest thing may to reboot into Safe Mode and delete the file from there. This will preclude any autoload processes from using the file. HTH
