Question Lock down Excel's custom quick access toolbar

    Hello...

Is there a way to lock Excel's custom quick access toolbar so a user is not allowed to change it? I know it defeats the purpose of the tool, but it sure makes it difficult to help people on their own computer when everyone's toolbar is different.

    Thanks so much!

    LJM,

These lines of code will disable/enable the QAT by hidng it. Unfortunately, it will hide the entire ribbon as well. If you do not mind that then here you go!

    HTH,
    Maud

    Code:
    Application.ExecuteExcel4Macro "SHOW.TOOLBAR(""Ribbon"",True)"

    Application.ExecuteExcel4Macro "SHOW.TOOLBAR(""Ribbon"",False)"
