    Insert Image in Word 2003

    I am doing my first Word merge document out of desperation. Access will not display .tiff files or .mdi files, but Word will, so I figured I would do a simple mail merge to accomplish my task. I have established the Word Document, attached the data source, and attempted to insert the merge field. This is what my merge field code looks like:

    { INCLUDE PICTURE { MERGEFIELD "image"} \ * MERGEFORMAT }

    What I get is:
    Error! Filename not specified.

    My image field = Image
    """F:\\Common\\Cost Packet Analysis\\pbm-logo.bmp"""

    What am I doing wrong?

    Do you actually have a space between Include and Picture? This should be one word.

    No, I do not have a space between the words - that was a type o. And my file name is: "F:\\common\\cost packet analysis\\pbm-logo.bmp"

    It doesn't have all those quotes around it.

    Thanks for your help!

    Try hard coding the path in place of the { MERGEFIELD "image"}

    If that works, try the { MERGEFIELD "image"} by itself to see what result you get.

    Can you identify any problem with either of these steps?
