Copying and pasting a matrix from one workbook to another

I have Excel 2007. I want to copy an array/matrix from a macro-enabled .xlsm sheet to another sheet that happens to be in compatibility mode .xls

I would appreciate help in how to do this.

    Thank you,
    Dick

    PS,
If it makes a difference, the array is a correlation-matrix generated by an add-in function.

Perhaps I don't understand, but I imagine that you should be able to just copy the range and then
Paste-special as links or as values depending on your needs

Thanks Steve. That's what I finally did, and it worked. It turned out that the vendor-provided worksheet, to which I was trying to copy data into, wasn't clear where I should be pasting values into. The results, at first, didn't look right, and I assumed (we know how that is spelled) that I was doing something wrong using the approach you describe above.

    Thanks for the reply.
