    SkyDrive to Taskbar

I am trying to pin SkyDrive to the taskbar. I have it pinned to File Explorer but would rather have it on the taskbar. When I do the finger version of right click and drag it there it ask me to pin it to File Explorer which of course it already is. It's beginning to look like this isn't going to happen.
Is there a way to do that. I know I cant pin the metro (which I find pathetic) app.

Try Pin to 8. "It can pin anything to the Start Screen or Taskbar in Windows 8."

Download from the link at the bottom, or the grey Download button. The green or blue Download buttons are ads for other stuff.

Thanks Bruce but I forgot to mention that I'm running RT and that was a no go

    Try:

    1. Create SkyDrive shortcut on desktop (e.g. drag and drop icon)
    2. Add "explorer" to front of target path in properties
    3. Change icon back to SkyDrive by selecting from C:\WINDOWS\system32\imageres.dll
    4. Drag to taskbar
    5. Delete desktop shortcut

Works for me (but I'm not on RT).

Thanks Bruce but that didn't seem to want to work either. What I did do that will really help, is to pin the Sky drive app that opens it in Explorer view like the desktop app on Win 7, to the metro interface. The SkyDrive logo is darker than the "official" SkyDrive app, but it works and I can use it a lot better than the Metro Tile..
