Can't believe I went looking for Win 8.1

I am dealing with one fix after the next between my laptop (that came Windows 8 pro installed) and my PC that I originally upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8 pro.

Certain links don't recognize my fully updated IE browser. And half the times I can't get Google to connect.

I can't believe I went looking for this mess.

IE has problems with some Google sites or Google search. If I may suggest, Chrome is an excellent browser, but there are fixes for all the issues.

We may be able to help, if you want to be more specific on the problems you are facing.

There was an initial problem with Google search, but a MS update corrected this problem. Have you gone to WU and checked for any updates? Be aware the Bing Desktop is again offered as an optional update. You can right click it and choose Hide.

I am not having as much trouble with Google now. I did have problems with RoboForm, but RoboForm offered a fix on its home page. I am also having trouble with one of Bank of America's web pages. It doesn't recognize my browser, although it is updated IE. I even tried compatibility view on that page, which is associated with BofA's Facebook page.

My big issue is my Bluetooth will not longer connect to my laptop. I need to find a way to get this fixed. I need my music while I am working.

Is it caused by a lack of an updated driver? Did you check your device manager to see if there any issues?

I am trying to download updated drivers but since it won't stay connected the software is not finding it.

If you can't find the Bluetooth driver, and if you can stay connected, you can sometimes find these types of drivers using Windows Update.

I would suspect the BoA site has not yet be updated for IE 11.

Can you go to Device Manager and Update Drivers, then choose manual Update and then choose your Bluetooth device from list and install the drivers without the Bluetooth device connected?
