clipart (Win98, Word 97-2SR)

Hi everyone
I was wondering if somone could help me with this. I tried copying some clipart from old disks that I have that were meant for Wordperfect. I have done this before and they worked just fine, but this time they won't. When I go into Word-Tools-Options and highlight clipart it is blank. When I go to modify it won't let me put in anything.
I need a lot of clipart. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

If you have the graphic converters installed you should be able to " menu, Insert Picture, From file".
I do not use the insert clipart, I find where the files is and insert it.

The above is from my Word 2002 and I do NOT remember what the command was in Word 97. But you should be able to find this. You might look under "Menu, Insert File".

Hope this helps.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

Hi Dave
Thanks for the fast response. The graphics converters should be installed, this is a new machine and set-up. But if they are not where would I find them? When I clicked on my clipart, in explorer, the MSCreate box comes up. What is that for anyway? Any answers greatly appreciated.
