Is it Windows 7 or is it WIndows Vista?

I had to use my Windows 7 recovery disk to fix my computer. It took an hour's time but it was fixed. Yet when the recovery CD booted up it said it discovered "Windows Vista on the hard drive. Yet, when I go into System and Security screen of my computer, it states that I have a Windows 7 machine. Any suggestions?

To many low-level programs, Vista and W7 are the same (version 6.0/6.1), they're based on the same 'design', ignore it, you have W7.

I concur. I would believe what the System screen says.
