    Pop Up (FP 2000)

    Hi
I am wishing to add a small pop-up window, A window that has no menus, to add a disclaimer to a site. How do I have the link open a window to a specified size and with no menu items?
    Thanks!

    Try this scripy from <A target="_blank" HREF=http://javascript.internet.com/navigation/centered-popup.html>JavaScript</A>.
Is that the sort of thing you want?

Alternativly visit <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.royalporthcawl.com/hole18.htm>http://www.royalporthcawl.com/hole18.htm</A> and click the Strokesaver logo. I think its the sort of thing you want. View Source of the page to find the PopIt function near the top of the code, and its use down in the body.

    Re: Pop Up (FP 2000)

I've implmented this routine in my code (BTW: thanks for showing me the way) but have a question maybe you can help with.

I would like to use this routine in a line that's contained in a shared border. I've found that a problem arises if I do so, which I believe is caused by passing the parameter

    this.href

to the NewWindow() function. If the JavaScript block is contained in the main page when the link is clicked on, everything works fine. But, if the JavaScript block is not included in the current main page, I get an error, even though the JavaScript is contained in the shared border.

Do you have any idea how to fix this?
