    Turnoff Messenger

Running 2 NT4 SP6a machines peer-to-peer; using printer adjacent to one machine as "installed" on that machine and shared. Second machine has this printer as the default (and only) printer. Problem: every time the printer is done with a job sent from the remote machine, Messenger dutifully butts into screen on remote machine to announce the spooler's done. How to turn this delightful little feature off? I've looked into Server on both machines and nothing shows as set up to do this.

On the machine the printer is installed:
    Start/Settings/Printers
    With the printers window open:
    File/Print Server Properties/Advanced
and de-select 'Notify when remote documents are printed'
