    Vanishing Jump List

Windows 7 x64 Professional. In several applications pinned to the top of the Start Menu, a mix of recent documents (pinned and unpinned) is displayed. One particular application - Quicken - has lost all except one item. I have tried opening and closing several files, but the empty jump list does not change. I am assuming that Quicken 2011 has the correct handlers for the jum[ list, as it has worked fine for 2 yeaars now. Other apps have jump lists which still work well.

Might this be a Quicken problem, or a Windows one? Is there perhaps a Registry tweak to fix the broken jump list?

Have you tried unpinning Quick and then re-pinning it?

    Joe,

I have been working with Windows far too long. I have been kicking myself ever since reading your reply! ! ! Why look for Registry hacks when the answer was so obvious? Thanks for reminding me that sometimes the simple answers are often the best ones

You're welcome. I take it that fixed it. Thanks for posting back.
