    AVG Detecting THIS...

    Recently, AVG Free has been detecting rkill.com as a Trojan...
    Rkill site say this is possible..

    I can't get AVG to ignore the threat because I don't see any setting to do so.

    The ignore option in the AVG alert in the attached screen shot only ignores it temporarily....

    That kind of behaviour from a heuristic A/V is nothing new; try creating a new, non-scannable (white/ignore -listed) folder for it and then download it via 'Save as', after disabling any web/net -based scanner - and report it via their support channels and ask them to whitelist that version.

    Try opening AVG and going to:
    options > advanced settings > Exceptions >add exception
    and add either the file rkill.exe (supply the whole path or the folder it resides in.
