Problem: "There was a problem starting" message on boot

When booting Win7 I get the following message: "There was a problem starting
    C:\Users\Jim\AppData\Local\Temp\CT3315826\Plugins\ TBverifier.dll
The specified module could not be found."
The boot process is very slow and shows the welcome screen twice.
I down loaded the .dll and got a message that it was already there. CT3315826 seems to belong in Firefox.
How do I get out of this double boot? The programs all work normally.

Run MSconfig.exe. Look at the start tab and see if there's an entry containing the word conduit. If so, uncheck it and reboot.

If not, try disabling all startup entries and reboot. If the error goes away, reenable startup entries in groups until you find the culprit.

Finally, download and run Malwarebytes www.malwarebytes.org.

I found the word 'conduit' in Start Up and unchecked it. That made the message disappear so now I will run Malabar bytes and will know what to do procedural next time. Thanks very much.

Conduit is Malware that you have gotten somewhere. A Google search shows methods of removal.
