Hide Database Window after Startup (Access 2002/2000)

I know how to hide the database window when my application starts up and the main form opens. As I develop and refine my application, I can use code to unhide the database window, but I can't figure out how to hide the window when i re-open my main form. Is it possible to do this with VBA code? Thanks

How do you prevent the use of F11 to show the database window?

Have you tried turning off the AllowBypassKey property?

    Where?
I didn't see in properties, Startup or Tools/Options.

Tools > Startup > Advanced. Be very careful if you uncheck this box....

    Jack,
I found it with your help.

Yes, that worked. It was for a database with one form. I used it only on a copy where I did not want the user to see code.

    Thanks

Glad you got it working! And you really don't need to be THAT careful... good luck.

Consider giving your users the database as an MDE file. They can't see objects in design mode and any code is hidden.
