    Help!

For a little while now, almost every browser on my system points to this start page:

    http://search.yahoo.com/?type=293224&fr=spigot-yhp-ie

which, I have checked, and is =not= a real Yahoo page - it seems to be some type of virus/malware/hitchhiker that, for some reason, nothing I have done (so far) on this end has gotten rid of.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this monster permanently?

(BTW, the only browser not affected is Opera)

That seems to be a nasty piece of software to remove, as you can confirm here or here. So, my suggestion would be for you to visit one of the forums in the links and ask for their help. They will give you personalized help removing it and that's probably the best way to handle it, in my opinion.

Any chance you might have a recent System Image from just before this started occurring that you could restore to? This would allow you to get rid of this bugger in about 10 minutes.
