    My husband accidentally signed in to this and we can't find a way to get out of it.

    nothing makes you ever go back there does it
    go to your profile and turn off visibility for everything but your name if that makes you feel better

    are you sure you will never change your mind?
    why not just park it and leave it in case you do.

    I would recommend closing it down completely, because of this new Chrome extension. Privacy is pretty shaky on it at this point, but especially if you're not planning on using the account, I'd close it down. Here's the article link if you're interested:

    Even if you're not connected in any way on LinkedIn, people can easily find your email address.
