Put "my documents" within the SkyDrive folder hierarchy, or use something like SkyShellEx which moves it for you with a context menu interface.

I tried to change the location of "my documents" to the skydrive folder, but it wouldn't move it. I got a message that said "user stopped this action". Didn't understand that. Maybe you can give me some more details. Thanks.

There may be difficulties in moving some system folders but you should be able to recreate folders in the SkyDrive Documents folder and copy or move data there.
If you want to move all your documents to SkyDrive and were not using SkyShellEx, I'd give that a try. Just remember that your data will actually be in the SkyDrive folders, not in your customary user folders.

    Hi steve53,
I'm betting, you let the Skydrive app install it's folder on your C: drive and you use the Libraries folders to store your files.
I store nothing on my C: drives. I store all mine on a partition, (my 2 pc's have only 1 built-in hdd) and it has my Skydrive folder also.
This method ensures I lose nothing if I have to use a 'Restore'.
O wad some Power the giftie gie us, to see oursels as ithers see us!
