    Monitor color flux

I am running a Dell laptop model PP33l with a separate Dell monitor model ST2010f.
I have Vista Home Premium on 64 bit system.
Occasionally when I first boot-up the computer the screen has a dark blue tint to everything.
The only solution seems to be to shut-down and restart the computer.

It seems to be occurring more frequently and it starting to toggle between blue tint and regular colors.

Any ideas what is happening and are there any setting I can adjust.

    Thanks,
    Richard Spring

It sounds like a monitor problem.

Try swapping monitors. You will know right away if there is a problem with your monitor.

Make sure the cable connections are tight at both the PC and monitor.

    Jerry:
It happened again and I pushed on the monitor cable connection.
    IT WORKED. Life is GOOD.
Happy New Year and Thank you.
