    OK to install these older MS versions?

    A text-to-speech program that I used in XP wants to install some older versions of Microsoft software in order to work in Windows 7:

    Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office Second Edition Runtime

    Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office Runtime Language Pack

    Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable

    Is there any reason not to install them, any conflicts with newer MS stuff, on Windows 7?

    Thanks,
    Ellen

    These are just runtime libraries and won't create any conflicts with other software.
