    PowerPoint97 Color Slide Printing Problem - Help ! (Microsoft PowerPoint 97 SR-2)

I have a presentation with a color background graphic in the Slide
Master Title area. I have sent this graphic to the back. However, on
the slide I have a straight text title, which I have moved to the
front. It prints fine in black and white. But the text in the slide title
does not print in color. Only the color graphic in the title prints. I
hope someone can help me on this as I need it fixed quick. Thanks in
    advance.

My only guess is to go back to the master and make sure our text title is "in front" of the graphic. In what you describe it shouldn't matter, but I can see no reason to set one thing at the master level and another on the slide. I mean, why wouldn't you want the title in front always.

Suffice to say I think there is another issue here.

Thanks for your reply. On the master slide, there is no text title, only a graphic. I sent the graphic to the back. The text title is set for the individual slide and I moved the text object to the front.

I just discovered a strange thing. I printed the slide on a different color printer and the text title printed out okay. It appears to be an issue of the printer type and the printer settings.
