    Locking file extensions

Is there a way or a utility that can lock a file extension to prohibit any program from hijacking the associations?

    Regards,

    Chuck,

I don't know of a way to lock the associations, but WinPatrol http://www.winpatrol.com will notify you with a popup if someting attempts to change them.
