    Worksheet Menu Bar (Hiding) (2000)

    Hi all,

    I think this is not possible, but thought I might ask anyway. Is it possible to hide the worksheet menu bar (I guess this is what it is called - the one with file, edit, view, so forth) from within VBA. I figured this was probably a no-no to keep people from getting in trouble.

    Thanks,

    Hi Michael,
    Scarily enough, yes it is! The following code for example would toggle it:
    <pre>With Application.CommandBars("Worksheet Menu Bar")
    .Enabled = Not .Enabled
    End With
    </pre>

    Hope that helps.

    Wow, that is pretty scary. Very useful though if used properly. I seem to have some employees who cannot use the custom toolbar provided and instead wish to print and do other various naughty things with the menu bar commands. This should take care of that.

    Thanks,
