    Security (2000)

    I have a site with confused security. When I browse it via its dns name, I get a security error on my asp pages. When I browse it via IP/folder name it all works fine. I cannot edit the site via DNS but I can via IP. Since the world will be getting at it via DNS, I have a problem on my hands. any ideas??

    The site is <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.md97-randolph.com/>http://www.md97-randolph.com/</A>. To see the offending behavior goto
    <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.md97-randolph.com/Workshop/AerialA.htm>http://www.md97-randolph.com/Workshop/AerialA.htm</A> and click any where on the aerial photo.

    Thanks

    Re: Security (2000)

    Is it "okay" to give out the IP address? ... If so I suggest you change all of your various:

    href="ModelMaster.asp?Alt etc.

    with:

    href="http://PUTIPADDRESSHERE/ModelMaster.asp?Alt etc.

    This might be a workaround (but somewhat sneaky in that I assume that the problem you're experiencing is that the web server you're using for your site has got a security setting set so users can't execute programs from the noted directory).

    Hope this helps.
