    Sharing sub-folders (Outlook2000/Exchange 5.5)

Can users SHARE a sub folder in Outlook?
It seems you CAN set permissions to sub folders BUT when the other person tries to OPEN ANOTHER USERS FOLDER you only get Top-Level folder choices.
    Help??

As a rule of thumb, you must make sure you give the other person permissions on the levels that are above this folder. For instance, if you want them to see your Contacts subfolder, you must at least give them "view" rights to your Contacts and Inbox folders. (I forget if VIEW is the exact property and I'm not on a server right now.) Hope this helps.

I don't think the File/Open/Other User's Folder works with subfolders, so the user that has been granted permission needs to add the folder owner's Mailbox to their Folder List. Go to Tools/Services, highlight Microsoft Exchange Server and click Properties. On the Advanced tab, add the folder owner as an additional mailbox to open. Make sure the user granting permissions to the subfolder also grants the permission "folder visible" for the parent folder.
