    Perplexing problem with Chrome

I subscribe to my local newspaper online. When I go to it, if I double click on an article, a small windows opens and the entire article appears, so I can scroll down and read it (as opposed to reading part of the article on page 1 and the continued article on page 2).

OK, I have 2 laptops. Both use W7. Both have IE and Chrome as browsers. On ONE of my laptops, when using Chrome, if I double click on the article, a box opens but the text does not appear.

I compared the settings and they appear to be the same. Any ideas?

Try clearing the cache in Chrome. This usually fixes any problems with flash based web sites. Click on the three horizontal bars in the upper right corner, then on settings. Click on "Show advanced settings", then scroll down to "Privacy" and click on the button to "Clear Browser Data". Check the box for empty the cache and in a couple of minutes things should be fine.

Thanks for your suggestion. I did clear the cache, but no joy.
