Can I prevent Control instructional text from printing?

    Hi folks,

My boss has designed a fillable form in Word 2010 using Controls. Ideally everyone will complete it online, but we know some folks will insist on printing it. In these cases we'd like the instructional text ("Click here to enter a date", etc.) to not print. Is there a way to do this?

I've attached a draft of the form to give folks an idea of what we're doing.

    Thanks,

    Beej

It appears you may need vba to come up with a solution. Greg Maxey has done all the work for you and documented it here

Otherwise, have someone go through the form and put some blank spaces in each content control, then print.
