    Rapid Environment Editor

I was finishing setting some system and user variables, and was trying to find a way to back same up, both system and user vars.

I came across instructions on backing up two registry keys.

I also found Rapid Environment Editor. This seems to not only back up but allow for easier editing of the vars.

When it backs the entries up, it does so in the "old" registry entry format REGEDIT4.

Will this do the job or is there a piece that will be missing by not using the new format for the registry entries?

    Regards,

I'm sure the registry will handle the "old" format when you restore.

    cheers, Paul
